Adult Potters Studio: Stoneware Clay

Calling all hands-on dreamers! Whether you’ve always wanted to try pottery or you’re ready to dust off your skills, this three-session workshop is the perfect place to begin (or begin again). In the first two sessions, you’ll shape and mold stoneware clay using an electric wheel, slab roller, and extruder—tools that make the process even more fun. The final class is all about glazing: adding color, personality, and a touch of magic to your handmade treasures.

This class is relaxed, beginner-friendly, and all about the joy of making something with your own two hands. Expect laughter, a little mess, and a lot of creativity. Dress for the occasion (in your grubbiest clothes) and bring an apron or towel if you like. We’ll let you know when they’re ready to pick up and admire! This class is meeting at Craig Seath’s Studio, tucked behind his house at 1023 7th St., Hudson. 

A $40 materials fee is due at class; Instructor accepts cash, check or Venmo.
