Parenting with Positivity

Parenting can be challenging and you don’t have to do it alone. This class is designed to help you create a calmer home, strengthen relationships with your child/ren and support positive behaviors through simple, practical strategies. You’ll learn research-based tools originally developed for classrooms and adapted for families. These skills focus on fostering nurturing interactions, providing emotional support and helping children develop important social and emotional abilities. You’ll leave with strategies ready to use right away!

Each week of this five-week course includes a family dinner. After the meal, parents and children will separate for learning and hands-on activities before coming back together to practice new skills. One parent may register for the family. Registration will ask for the names of participating family members and any food allergies.
