WaitlistBeginner Gymnastics -IntermediateComm Ed / Sports & FitnessThis Intermediate Beginner class is designed especially for kids ages 7-9 who are excited to continue learning the fundamentals of the sport in a positive and energetic environment. Gymnasts will be introduced to all four events—vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise—through fun drills, games, and skill-building activities that help develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence. Each one-hour class focuses on learning proper technique and building a strong foundation while encouraging teamwork, perseverance, and having fun. This class is a great place to grow skills and confidence while making new friends and cheering each other on. This class is best suited for gymnasts who are able to follow directions independently in a group setting, participate in physical activity for a full class period, and perform basic gymnastic skills (handstands, cartwheels, rolls, back/forward bends. With an 8:1 ratio, our experienced instructors not only teach golf fundamentals like full swing, chipping, and putting but also specialize in working with kids to build confidence and sportsmanship. We provide top-notch equipment and training materials, so there’s no need to purchase gear—just show up and enjoy the game! Students use indoor safe, limited-flight practice golf balls during class. Whether your child is new to golf or looking to improve, TGA makes it easy to learn, play, and love the sport. Intro to RugbyComm Ed / Sports & FitnessWhether you're a seasoned athlete looking to try something new or have never touched a rugby ball, this introduction is for you! Rugby is an inclusive sport that welcomes all body types, skill levels, and athletic backgrounds. Designed for boys and girls in grades 6–12, this introductory session focuses on fun, fitness, and the fundamentals of rugby. Participants will learn basic skills such as passing, catching, running lines, and game strategy through engaging drills and modified games in a supportive environment. Students will be grouped by age and grade level whenever possible to ensure activities are developmentally appropriate and enjoyable for everyone. No prior rugby experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for plenty of movement. Plastic-molded cleats (soccer, football, or lacrosse cleats work great) are encouraged for better traction on the turf, but athletic shoes are also acceptable. If you already own a mouthguard, please bring it. While this is a low-contact introductory session, wearing a mouthguard is a good habit for rugby players to develop. Olympic FencingComm Ed / Sports & FitnessIn this active, hands-on camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of all three Olympic fencing weapons while developing footwork, bladework, strategy, and sportsmanship. Through fun drills, games, and supervised practice bouts, students will build coordination, focus, agility, and confidence as they learn what it takes to become a skilled fencer. Whether new to the sport or looking to sharpen existing skills, this camp offers a fun and challenging introduction to one of the world's oldest and fastest-growing Olympic sports.
